Kerri Augenstein
Kerri is a senior contributor to design on our Web Services team. As our creative lead, her collaborative practice focuses on architecting design systems applied to content publishing and web apps at scale, as well as creative visual design applied to custom platforms.
Kerri has been designing for more than 15 years starting as a brand, print, and digital designer at Sametz Blackstone Associates, a boutique agency in Boston’s south end. She went on to narrow her focus and concentrate on user experience design with iFactory, a specifically digital agency, which led to her first relationship with the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2012. She’s been designing for Stanford ever since.

Design Principles
Design Together and Design for Utility are Kerri’s pick-design-principles. Design Together because no single domain of expertise can solve for the complexities of another, preventing normal human bias wherever possible. Design for Utility because form equals function and when our digital solutions meet function, they should also meet users, scope, and business needs.
